ED FITZGERALD TO HOST MEETING ON REGIONAL SEWER DISPUTE

CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald has invited leaders of area cities, villages and townships to a meeting Thursday morning that will also include representatives of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.

The local governments are currently in a legal dispute with the sewer district on a number of issues, including fees that have been proposed by the district to manage area storm water. FitzGerald’s goal in hosting Thursday’s meeting is to start conversations among area leaders that could lead to some common ground on regional sewer issues.
